So is there still love in the air now Valentine’s day has passed?
Most people get geared up for valentine’s day to share how they feel with their loved one. A couple I know who were no different immersed themselves in activities that they had both excitedly planned together in order to share with each other their love and how much they care.
In fact love was in the air for this couple from dawn till dusk on valentines day as they had what they described as ‘the most loving and romantic time of their 2 year relationship’ Two days later, they were finding each others company intolerable!
When I reminded them of the love they felt for each other they annoyingly responded with “What is love anyway??
This prompted me to write this post about love and share with you what I and a few others think love is.
So what is love?
Well according to Wikipedia - “Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure (“I loved that meal”) to intense interpersonal attraction (“I love my husband”). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.”
I believe love is energy, the highest form of energy. The source of this energy is love. It really is the most powerful energy of all.
Love carries a positive frequency from one person to another and resonates with everything. Love forces vibrate at the highest frequency.
A love filled heart creates a electromagnetic field that affects the emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual well-being of all beings. So when your heart is filled with love, it can heal your body. Love cleanses the soul and spirit. Love has been seen as the greatest energy of life or the unified field of consciousness.
And if you were to ask Mr Richard Blackstone what love is, he will tell you that love is the ultimate reality. Here is what he says about love in his own words:
“Okay, so what is love? Well, it is an experience of oneness, of unity and an interconnectedness of all of life. It is that place where the idea of separation is unthinkable and the concept of duality is an illusion and the concept of oneness becomes your reality.
Our ultimate reality is one of unity and oneness. This is, in the larger scheme of things, the way things really are. There is no separation even though we live in this beautiful universe that allows for us to see things through our physical senses that create an ‘illusion’ of separation.
Isn’t it one of the most magnificent magic shows ever invented? In ultimate reality, separation is the illusion and the truth is the oneness of life. Love is the human urging to prove this and to experience it”

Love as far as I’m concerned is all of the above and more, I am love, you are love, and we are all connected with love. So keep loving feelings alive in your heart at all times. Generate it from within and approach every relationship with love in your heart. When you love, you are willing to give; when you love, you trust; when you love, you understand and you listen…. Start now by loving yourself.
