HUB Impact in action!
A quick post to share just one of the ways members are creating impact on the world.
Amina is one of 15 women in the KOCH self-empowerment group who live in Korogocho, the second largest and most dangerous slum in Nairobi, Kenya. She is HIV positive and her husband died of AIDS. She has five children, four of which are HIV positive. Amina declared “I am no longer sick!” when she was invited to join this group. We have seen her and her children steadily regain their health over the last year due to the support she has received in food, education and opportunity to create her business and participate in our global marketplace product development program.

If you have read the last post, you my also agree that empowerment and support is a positive way to create effective impact and self-sustainability for all.
